Home to the championship and international courses, the Grand Reserve Country Club was founded in 2004. It is located in Río Grande, east of San Juan, by the sea and overlooking El Yunque U.S. Once known as Trump International Puerto Rico, it is owned by Hyatt Regency. The best news is that renowned Tour professional Tom Kite designed both courses. “I have lots of confidence on this course. It’s one of the best driving courses we play on the Championship Tour. Just enough rough to give you some problems,” said Kite while describing the course he poured his heart and soul into.

The course is divided into two 18-hole courses each. The Grand Reserve Golf Course has all the qualities to be a place for champions and families as well. In addition to being a usual host for the fun PGA Tour event, the place has a magical habit of producing first-time winners.

Golf stars like Viktor Hovland, Tony Finau and Alex Čejka also recorded their initial victories here. Čejka won his first PGA Tour event in his 287th Tour start at the 2015 Puerto Rico Open. Finau became a part of the PGA Tour in 2013 and achieved his first victory in 2016 at the Puerto Rico Open. The Norwegian golfer carded his first Tour win here in the 2020 edition of the Puerto Rican event when he shot 2-under 70 in the final round and ended his 72 holes at 20-under.
