The Club at Indian Creek in Omaha, Nebraska, is hosting this year’s Pinnacle Bank Championship. It kicked off on August 8th and will be crowning its victor in a matter of time. But have you wondered how much money the winner will get along with the title?
The purse value for Korn Ferry Tour’s Pinnacle Bank Championship is set at $1,000,000. According to the rule of 18% in any Korn Ferry Tour’s cut for the winner’s share, the Pinnacle Bank Champion will receive $180,000 to take home. Although before 2020, the runner-up at any Korn Ferry Tour would get about 10.26% of the total prize pool, the percentage has now dropped to only 9.
The payout goes to as many as 65 people or more who make the cut, and by the end of this list, the percentage drops down to only 0.40%. Yet, the 65th position holder at the Pinnacle Bank Championship will take home $4000.

The winner will also earn 500 KFT points and almost 14 OWGR points. The KFT points are important as on the Road to French Lick, the top 30 players at the end of the 2024 season earn a PGA Tour card for the following season, and the priority order into the fall events is based upon their combined points between the regular season and Korn Ferry Tour Finals.
Will Danny Walker be able to claim the winner’s title?
“Didn’t get into like any real trouble,” that’s how Walker has described his play thus far at the Indian Creek in Omaha. The 28-year-old golfer, who turned pro in 2018, has yet to win any tournament. Earlier this year, he had a T14 finish at the Club Car Championship and showed gratitude for being able to improve his game. And the results can be seen at the 2024 Pinnacle Bank Championship.

Right from the beginning of the first run, however, he has been holding on to some great spots on the leaderboard. So far, with a 62-70-67, Walker has maintained a solid 14-under while entering the final round.

As he began his final round with a three-stroke lead, the fans are hopeful that Walker might just be able to achieve his very first title on the tour. He showed confidence after being able to reach the ‘Pinnacle’ of the leaderboard too. He stated, “It feels good. It’s right where you want to put yourself at the start of the week, so you couldn’t ask for a better position going into Sunday. Again, you still have to just commit to your game and focus on what you can control out there, and the results will take care of themselves.”
