The entire golf community rubs their hands for the most awaited showdown of the year in Dallas, which is set to take off from this weekend. The championship is decorated with a bunch of amazing golfers and an even more amazing prize purse. Moreover, the 2024 LIV Golf Dallas Team Championship offers a staggering $50 million prize pool, with the winning team taking home $14 million.
The Team Championship features a unique payout structure. As we all know typically, the winning team receives 20% of the prize money, right? However, this event will allocate the funds differently. The prize money will be split differently at the Team Championship, with 60% going to the team and the other 40% being shared equally among the four team players. It’s a welcome change!
Some top LIV golfers like Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, Brooks Koepka, and Bryson DeChambeau will add to the excitement in a cutthroat competition in Dallas. The 52 players will form 13 teams of four and compete in a unique knockout format that has the fans excited to their core.

The Maridoe Golf Club in Dallas, Texas will be hosting this exciting event by marking the 14th and final stop on the LIV Golf season for the year. While there might be no Official World Golf Ranking points at stake, does that mean the players get nothing other than money? No, not at all.
