In just 24 hours, LIV Golf will conclude its 2024 season in Dallas with a team taking home the $ 14 million check and celebrating with all the champagne they can use. The second of the LIV Golf Team Championship at the Maridoe Golf Club was one for the books. The 2-time US Open winner, Bryson DeChambeau, was the crowd’s favorite to win against Iron Heads GC’s Danny Lee. However, unfortunately for DeChambeau, he lost 2 down.
And with that, Crushers GC, who won 3 LIV Golf team events this season, were out of the race to place themselves in the first to fourth position in the final round. DeChambeau will start his final round with Sergio Garcia, Phil Mickelson, and Louis Oosthuizen at the shotgun start time of 11:05 a.m. at hole 13th. Unlike every team event, where each player starts together but just at a different hole, this time the final would be a tiny but different.
Tyrrell Hatton, Cameron Smith, Dustin Johnson, and Kevin Na, who are all in the top four teams in the final, will be starting the final round at 11:18 a.m. on hole 1 where just thirteen minutes before Patrick Reed, Lee, Caleb Surratt, and Marc Leishman would be starting their final round. The rest of the groupings are below and don’t forget Jon Rahm will be missing the event as he was diagnosed with Flu and John Catlin replaced as a player.
