LIV Golf bid farewell to Houston after crowning Mexican golfer Carlos Ortiz as the individual champion with a score of 15 under 201. After a brief detour at the U.S. Open, the next stop on the calendar for the Saudi-funded league is the tournament in Nashville, the music city. The event is scheduled to take place from June 21 to 23. The LIV Golfers will tee off, with each group consisting of three golfers. So what is the lineup for Friday?

In a tweet on its official X handle, LIV Golf Communications released the groupings for the first round. The round will begin at 12:15 p.m. with all the trios teeing off together at different holes.

After winning the US Open recently, Bryson DeChambeau‘s hopes must be high. The first group also has Jon Rahm, who has returned to the greens after withdrawing from the previous LIV event in Houston due to a foot infection. With this, the first group looks pretty packed with competition.

Other big names that are also going to be a part of the tournament include Brooks Koepka who is a five-time major champion; Phil Mickelson, six-time major winner and World World Golf Hall of Famer; as well as two-time major winners Bubba Watson and Dustin Johnson. The shotgun start is supposed to happen at The Grove, a private, gated golf community located 36 miles southeast of downtown Nashville, near Franklin. It’s been eighty years since the Nashville Greens hosted big-time golf.

The 18-hole course truly exudes beauty in every aspect. The 2024 host of LIV Golf Nashville has gained a reputation as one of the best private golf courses in all of Middle Tennessee. McCrory Creek runs through the middle of The Grove, providing an amazing view. The generous fairways and fast greens are surrounded by ponds, contributing to the aesthetic appeal of the golf course. With its beauty, the course is a sight for sore eyes.

What makes the Nashville-based golf course a bit more special is that it is one of the designs by the Great White Shark—Greg Norman. The play at the Grove is going to be at par 71 and 7,297 yards of the 7,315 yards and the greens roll here at the pace of US Open speeds. The combination of 54 talented golfers and a picturesque course will surely set the stage for an intriguing LIV Golf tournament. Will Jon Rahm finally grab his maiden victory on the Nashville greens, or will the Scientist dominate the field from the start and take home the silverware? It remains to be seen.
