Day one of the Kroger Queen City Championship went smoothly with a light breeze. There was no rain to disrupt the players’ rhythm or the fans’ entertainment as Ashleigh Buhai took the lead after posting a seven-under 65 at TPC River’s Bend. The Ohio course played exceptionally well for the field as eight golfers, including Nelly Korda and Lydia Ko, finished tied for fourth, while Yan Liu and Jeeno Thitikul tied for second place. Will day two also favor the golfers without much disruption from the weather?

You would be wrong to believe that. Although there were no issues on the first day of the Kroger Queen City Championship, the next day came with a slight warning of rain. The sun will rise at 6:36 a.m., but it will be behind many clouds, which may make the morning a bit hazy. The round is supposed to start at 7:25 a.m., but there is a 15% chance of rain, which may delay the start, but hopefully not for long.

With the rain check confirmed, the humidity level is expected to be at 74%, making it harder for both patrons and golfers. During the day, the temperature will reach 73°F, with the wind blowing from the north-northeast at 10 to 15 mph. The temperature will drop as the day progresses and could reach 56°F by night, as reported by The Weather Channel. The LPGA Tour is hoping the rain won’t be severe enough to delay the event.
