With a 33.0% chance of winning, Thailand’s Atthaya Thitikul has taken the lead at the Chevron Championship with Jin Hee Im. The two shot the Friday round of 8 under 67 to take the lead, where Thitikul shot one bogey and six birdies. And Im scored a bogey-free round with three birdies on the front nine and at the back.
Nelly Korda is just one stroke behind the leaders on the leaderboard. Korda is not only vying for the first major title of the season but also looking at a potential fifth consecutive win on the LPGA Tour as well. The LPGA pro started round three at the Chevron Championship with a double bogey on par-4 hole one. However, the 25-year-old quickly recovered and birdied the next hole.
She went on to make five more birdies with a bogey on the par-3 hole 7. She scored 7 under 69 to take the solo third position on the leaderboard. The three are now paired up to play the third round and the trio will start the round later than everyone in the field at 11:30 a.m. EST.

Out of three, Ko performed better and had only one stroke deficit to make the cut. The Korean pro shot 3 over 71 in the second round, which was better than her opening performance of 4 over 76. While the French star struggled a lot at The Club. Boutier scored two bogeys, one double bogey, and three birdies to be 4 over 73 in round 2.
Lastly, Lee performed the worst of the three. She was T110 on the leaderboard, making 8 bogeys with a double in her two rounds, which was more than double of birdies scored by her (3).
