The Tour has once again visited the Lone Star State! This time it is at the newly renovated and oldest golf course of the PGA Tour, the Colonial Country Club. The Charles Schwab Challenge has concluded the first round of the event, and after 18 holes, Charley Hoffman has taken the lead.

Hoffman is set to begin his second round to keep the lead alive at 9:17 a.m. with Ryan Palmer and Gresin Sigg. On the other side is also the field highlight of the Charles Schwab Challenge, World No. 1, Scottie Scheffler. Unfortunately, he shot a round of 2 over 72, his first over-par round on the PGA Tour (not including his recent Masters mishap) since the 2023 TOUR Championship.

Scheffler tied for 79 and will play with Keegan Bradley and Billy Horschel at 8:55 a.m. on Friday. Other notable players in the field are Jordan Spieth and Collin Morikawa. Spieth finished round one at 1 over 71 at T53, while Morikawa ended at 2 under 68 at T11. The former will be teeing up for the second round at 8:44 a.m. and the latter at 1:56 p.m.

Of late, the PGA Tour has been garnering more fans to watch the event, putting the low-rating nightmares at bay for the time being. And here’s how you can add to that viewership this week for the 2024 Charles Schwab Challenge!

How can one watch round two of the Charles Schwab Challenge?

NBC will only begin telecasting the Charles Schwab Challenge on Saturday and Sunday. Fortunately, before that, golf enthusiasts can tune into the Golf Channel. The Golf Channel will broadcast the Friday round from the Colonial Country Club from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Peacock will also stream the simulcast.

On the other hand, the event’s special partnership with ESPN ensures that a live broadcast begins at 8:15 a.m. and ends at around 7 p.m., ideally. ESPN+ will also stream the feature group holes and marquee group streams through different channels in the same time frame.

For the fans who cannot watch the Charles Schwab Challenge, they can opt to listen in! The Sirius XM PGA Tour will have a live commentary on the event from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., all times EST. Tune in to stay up-to-date!
