Will the fierce Bermuda winds separate the true champions from the rest this year?

The 2024 Butterfield Bermuda Championship has commenced at Port Royal Golf Course. Along with the 120 players, bad weather will also be taking part in the tournament to make it challenging. As per the forecast, the weather during the tournament will be changing. High winds, gusts, clouds, and showers can be observed during the tournament.

Bad weather conditions have already hampered two tournaments this season, including the LPGA reducing to 54 holes and the Wyndham Championship being delayed/postponed. Hopefully, we do not expect this to happen at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

As per the report, fans can expect a sunny yet breezy first day with temperatures ranging from mid-60s to high 70s. While the wind speed would range from 30 to 37 mph. The sunny start to the day will fade away as the clouds are expected to cover the course by the evening.

With each passing day of the tournament, the conditions will not be as favorable. On the second day, cloudy conditions and occasional showers can affect the play. As compared to day 1, the wind will range from 20 to 23 mph throughout the day, while wind gusts are expected to be around 21- 38 mph. However, this is not it, as day 3 will be the most challenging for the players. As per AccuWeather reports, high precipitation and wind gust speeds of 55 mph are expected.

During the final round of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, the weather will be a bit more challenging, but not much as compared to days 2 and 3. With sunny conditions and wind gusts of 35 to 40 mph, the golfers will have to battle through to win the championship.
