Will Adam Svensson's stunning start lead him to victory, or will another player steal the spotlight?

The whole golf community is over the moon with excitement as the Black Desrest Championship has finally begun. Although things did not start very well for this debut tournament, this four-day tournament has finally started at the Black Desert Golf Course which is built on lava. The PGA Tour is returning to Utah after 61 years hence the fans are super excited to find out who will take home the trophy. We all know that the first round was suspended at 9:04 p.m. ET on Thursday, October 10th, due to darkness with 24 players still in contention.

The PGA Tour reported that they will resume the game on Friday at 10:00 a.m. ET. Before the game got suspended, Adam Svensson had already taken the lead with a career-best 11-under 60 which is two shots ahead of the pack. His amazing gameplay in round 1 featured a 35-foot eagle putt and a bunker birdie. But what about the second round? Well, the tee timings and pairing for round 2 have been released by the PGA Tour and everyone is extra thrilled to see C.T. Pan, Tim Wilkinson, and Hayden Springer integrating the game in round 2.

What’s at stake at the Black Desert Championship?

Everyone is excited to see who will emerge victorious in the tournament this year and the prize money for the Black Desert Championship is as awesome as the tournament itself. The third of eight fall events on the PGA Tour features a whopping  $7.5 million purse and the winner will be taking home a substantial $1.35 million. The players are extra pumped to showcase their skills of this one considering the tournament’s return to Ivins, Utah.

After the winner’s share, the runner-up will also be taking a decent amount of the prize money with $817,500, followed by third place earning $517,500. The fourth and fifth runner-up will be taking home $367,500 and  $307,500, respectively.
