Buckle up, golf fans, because the last major of the season is on the way! The AIG Women’s Open is ready to take off from August 22 to 25 at the Old Course Links Golf Course in St. Andrews. The excitement between the fans is palpable. Players like Nelly Korda, Megan Khang, and Lillia Vu are set to battle for the extremely sought-after trophy. Who is paired with the defending champion at the 2024 AIG Women’s Open?
So, to begin with, the showdown will start at 2:00 a.m. EST (7:00 a.m. BST) and will be inaugurated by none other than I.K. Kim, Alexandra Forsterling, and Moriya Jutanugarn from the first tee. Lauren Coughlin, the winner of the Scottish Open, Miyu Yamashita, and Madelene Sagstrom will be starting at hole 10. The power trio, Nelly Korda, Charley Hull, and the defending winner, Lilia Vu will tee off from the first hole at 8:10 a.m. EST.
