If there’s one thing we know about LIV Golf, it’s that it always creates a buzz in the golfing world. This year’s $25 million event, LIV Golf Adelaide, has headlined various newspapers ever since its announcement. The event attracted 94,000 fans last year. It is also set to break its record this year when it tees off on February 14th.
One of the most interesting parts of the league’s week at Riyadh was definitely under the lights. The players competed under the floodlights at Riyadh Golf Club. The move was definitely peculiar, to say the least, but definitely something expected of LIV Golf. The league always brings something new to the table. And, the coming event in Adelaide promises to be even better, with more than 100,000 fans expected to witness the play over three days at The Grange.
Let’s take a look at what the 1st round at Adelaide looks like.

How does the 1st round of LIV Golf Adelaide look like?
Let’s look at three of the most talked about LIV golfers this season. Brooks Koepka had a decent start to the season in Riyadh with a T33 finish. Needless to say, Koepka will be vying for a win this season after his last win in Greenbrier in 2024. He will be teeing off on Hol2 along with Sergio Garcia and Dustin Johnson. On the other hand, John Rahm, fresh off his runner-up title from Riyadh is definitely someone to watch out for. The Spaniard, with only two wins ever since he joined LIV Golf, is still a favorite among the possible winners. Finishing T3 in last year’s edition, will he make a difference this year? He will be teeing off alongside Bryson DeChambeau and Anthony Kim on hole 18.
Besides these are not the only star golfers to look forward to this season.
The tournament will commence with a shotgun start, meaning all 54 players will tee off at the same time from their respective starting holes. According to the schedule shared by LIV Golf on its official website, the first day looks like this.
