The 2024 Meijer LPGA Classic commenced on June 13 at Blythefield Country Club. The US Open is also going on on the other side of the golf world! After the conclusion of the first round in Michigan, Alison Lee emerged on top as a solo leader after she carded 7 under 65 with the help of 7 birdies and one eagle. However, she also shot 2 bogeys at par 4-3rd and par 3-15th.
Although the top spot is occupied by a single golfer, a peculiar runner-up is in a nine-way tie. The second-place holders include 2022 winner Jennifer Kupcho and two-time Meijer LPGA Classic winner Brooke Henderson. With the tee times and pairings for the second round revealed, the excitement among the fans is off the charts.
Just like the opening round, the second round will also start simultaneously at the 1st and 10th tees. The round will begin with pairings of Yue Ren, Aditi Ashok, and Mel Reid at tee one and Maude-Aimee Leblanc, Kaitlyn Papp Budde, and Bianca Pagdanganan at tee ten, both pairs beginning at 7:15 a.m. ET. How can you enjoy the Meijer LPGA Classic from home?
You can watch the women golfers by just turning your TV on and switching to either the Golf Channel or the Peacock for the Friday and Saturday rounds. Both rounds will be aired live from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST on the respective days. However, for the final round, there is a slight change. The Golf Channel will begin with its live coverage from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST, and then CBS will take over for the final part from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.
