Scheffler falters in Round 3

After playing a round of 64 and scoring 128 in the second round of the AT&T Byron Nelson, Scottie Scheffler took the lead. With a score of 14 under par, Scheffler entered Round 3 in first place, followed by Ryan Palmer and Mackenzie Hughes. Scheffler, though, lost some of his momentum in Round 3.

First, on the par-5 9th, he wasted two opportunities to make birdies. But that was not the end of his issue. His second shot on the par-5 18th forced him to make a bogey since it landed on the lip of the fairway bunker and stayed there. He missed the shot on the green after finally emerging from the bunker.
