When one hears the word “golf,” one of the first names that comes to mind is Tiger Woods. It can be seen as natural he is among the most popular golfers in the world. Woods’ fans have been waiting for news about his recovery and return after his disastrous car crash back in 2021. Now, the golf world should brace itself, as the rumors of Woods’ return are swirling all around social media. Is the legend actually going to be back on the greens?
Like the 15-time major champion’s fans, TWLegion’s Twitter account had been keeping a close eye on the legend’s progress. If rumors are true, Woods will return to the PGA Tour for the first time since his accident.
Fans, who have missed his presence on the course in a PGA event for over two years, were ecstatic at this piece of information. As the anticipation would be palpable, the Twitter handle also provided a warning to not get too excited until the news is officially out.

Fans react to Twitter post hinting at Tiger Woods potentially returning
That last line didn’t stop most of the fans from going gaga over the legend’s potential return to the course. Some of them tried to not get too excited and kept their hands tied and fingers crossed. One such Twitter user, who remained practical, opined that Woods’ return could wait until the Florida swing.
That’s a long flight out to California to practice, prep, and play. Feel Tiger waits until Florida swing.

I don’t see him playing there. Tough walk for him plus has hosting duties.

Well-wishers for Tiger have a different take on the whole situation. Some people are doubtful of his return, along with the burden of hosting duties. They want their favorite to rest and recover completely before taking to the course for a PGA event.

They would rather have him play the PGA Tour’s most prestigious event than Genesis. Well, isn’t that the true form of love and respect?
I would be happy if he plays Genesis but I’d rather him rest up & focus on hosting duties & plan to play PGA Tour’s most prestigious event (Players)

How about the Players?

Yeah I would think that’s the next target regardless of Genesis
