Scottie Scheffler winning the Players Championship is a hot topic of discussion. He nailed his heels too deep in the ground in an outstanding performance, winning $4.5 Million, and now everyone is talking about it. And the former professional golfer, Paige Spiranac, is also on the list. Despite being away from the professional sport, her heart belongs there. Her recent tweet is trending, and golf fans have reacted to it. What did she say about the number one golfer?
Paige Spiranac is head over heels for Scottie Scheffler’s golf skills
One day after he shot 65 to render his control of the tournament, Scheffler withstood a windswept Sunday and shot 3-under 69 at the Players Championship. He won at the Players Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass by five strokes over Tyrrell Hatton and returned to the tip position. His longtime instructor, Randy Smith, was impressed. He said, “He an artist, and when you give him this canvas, he wants to paint on it.” However, not just Randy was impressed by the major championship winner’s performance.

In his praise, Golf Beauty tweeted, “Scottie Scheffler is so disgustingly good at golf and seems like an even better person. Easy guy to root for.” The 26-year-old pro golfer claimed his sixth PGA Tour win and his second of the season. And getting such a compliment from the second most influential female golf personality is the cherry on the cake.
He’s not going away anytime soon, and Spiranac is well aware of it, as her tweet depicts. It won’t be surprising to see the pro golfer add more significant victories to his belt. Last year, he won the Masters 2022; you never know, this year, he might defend his title. At the beginning of the year, Spiranac made 2023 predictions, and fans went crazy. But does the golf world agree with the words of the internet queen now?
Does the golf world love the golfer as much as Spiranac?
Some fans ultimately agreed with the 2018 SI swimsuit model, whereas others disagreed. According to them, Scheffler was a great golfer but not a great human being. It was a debate that no one expected. However, some fans gave her tweet a hilarious turn, especially Australians. It was something like, “You’re in Australia. Turn to the person next to you and show them your post.” But overall, everyone was on board with Spiranac’s views. They joined her in praising and explaining their reasons.
100%. Love his high integrity and an elevated love for the game. Can’t wait for him to win 50+ PGAT tournaments over his career.

Don’t disagree w him as a golfer or person but I actually find him to be the exact opposite of entertaining and have no desire to root for him to be in the final groupings.

Psst. You still in Aust? Root has a very different meaning here. I like the guy, but I ain't rooting for him 🤣🤣

Salt of the Earth. Family centric and passionate about the game he loves. Top notch in my book.
