As much as the putters are valuable for a golfer to finish perfectly in any event, a driver holds a special place. Because without the ball, it cannot be teed up and made to the greens. At times it is the hardest for the PGA Tour pros to hit the middle of fairways, avoid the roughs, and keep their strokes low.
Even Tiger Woods was once extremely nervous to hit a driving shot. But here are the five drivers from the PGA Tour’s 2024 season, which allowed these five golfers to rank up in the money list and take home millions of dollars.
5. Wyndham Clark

Wyndham Clark was one of the late users of the Titleist TSR 3 Driver, but when he started using it in the 2024 season, the 30-year-old carded a third PGA Tour victory. It was right before the weather impacted AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am when Clark shifted to Titleist TSR3, so even though he usually has a hard time finding the fairway, this driver helped him to reach it far better. The improved aerodynamics of the driver offer precision and better distance, and that’s what Clark needed at the Pebble Beach Course.
Earning $3.6 million from his third victory, the driver helped the 3-time PGA Tour winner to earn $17.15 million this year, which includes $10.901 million from events as he was in the top 10s seven times more, $4 million from Comcast bonus, and $2.250 million from the TOUR Championship as he was 8th on the leaderboard. How can you get the driver? It costs between $499 and $649 and can be bought from the PGA Tour SuperStore.
4. Rory McIlroy
The Northern Irishman did not win a major this year, and his 10-year majorless streak continues, but it is not like he did not win anything this year. For starters, Rory McIlroy did win the Wells Fargo Championship for the fourth time, becoming the only golfer to do so. He also made his debut at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans with Shane Lowry, which he also won.

The driver that assisted him in these two victories and five other top-10 finishes to bag up $10.893 million in 2024 alone was the TaylorMade Qi10. He uses it with an 8-degree loft with Fujikura Ventus Black 6x. This allowed McIlroy to earn the Comcast Business Top 10 bonus of $4.8 million, as he was 4th on the list with the T9 of the TOUR Championship adding $1.608 million, and the Ulstermen have earned $17.302 million. But the driver just cost him $599.99 and is available on TaylorMade’s website.
3. Collin Morikawa
Although Collin Morikawa was winless in the 2024 season, the 6-time PGA Tour winner still earned more than McIlroy and Clark, who won PGA Tour events. Interestingly, Morikawa is seventh on the 2024 money list, as he earned $8.365 million from the 20 events he played. But at the TOUR Championship, his $629.99 TaylorMade Qi10 LS came in clutch, and he finished runner-up.
That earned him $12.5 million from East Lake. Besides this, Morikawa was also fortunate to be ranked fourth in the Business Comcast Top 10 list and add $4.4 million more to his bank account. As fast as his driver has been, his career earnings have grown at a faster pace and landed him a check of $25.265 million in just nine months!
2. Xander Schauffele
Xander Schauffele was the only player in the 2024 season to win two majors, the PGA Championship and the Open at the Royal Troon. These two events amassed the PGA Tour star $6.4 million. On top of that, he earned the Comcast bonus of $6 million and took home $4.833 million from East Lake, finishing T4. He is the second-earning golfer on the PGA Tour in 2024 with a whopping $29.189 million earned, where he earned $18.355 million from only the events.
To gather all the checks, Schauffele used the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond. It is one of the favorite drivers on the PGA Tour and costs $599.99. The AI technology helps the player hit better shots even if he misses the center and gives low spin and maximum launch to win those majors.

1. Scottie Scheffler
The best season of the year award goes to Scottie Scheffler. No one has won as many times as Scheffler in a single season since 2007. What’s impressive is that world no. 1 didn’t his driver even for once. For all his seven victories, concluding with winning the gold medal at the Olympics, he has used the TaylorMade Qi10. Although the same driver did not work as magically for McIlroy, it was indeed a lucky charm for Scheffler.
The 28-year-old earned $29.288 million from all the 18 events he played, but with the added bonus of $8 million and $25 million from winning the TOUR Championship, Scheffler took home $62 million just in a single year. World no. 1 golfer has a driving skill that even Schauffele envies and his driver works exceptionally well when he at times misses the fairway. As previously revealed, it costs $599.
