Tony Finau has certainly established himself as one of the most consistent players on the PGA Tour. With a career spanning over a decade, Finau has notched five PGA Tour victories, including the 2022 3M Open and the 2022 Houston Open. He has also represented the United States in several International competitions, including the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup.
Well, what is he recently doing? Finau then participated in A&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM, where he finished in a respectable tied-13th position. Though he didn’t claim the win, Finau’s performance showcased his keen interest in maintaining his good skills. Finau is currently playing in the Genesis Invitational and sits at T4 behind Patrick Rodgers and Denny McCarthy. So, what does the American professional carry in his arsenal to maintain this level of play?
When it comes to his driver, Finau elevates his game with the PING G430 LST Driver, set at 8.5° for a powerful ball flight. Mitsubishi Diamana GT 70TX shaft tipped 1.5″, offers Finau stability and responsiveness, while the D6 swing weight and 28g CG shifter in neutral enhance control. Tony Finau’s amazing iron play is boosted by his Blueprint T Irons, ranging from 4-iron to pitching wedge. Fixed with Nippon Modus 3 Tour 120 TX shafts, these irons also help deliver exceptional feel and control, allowing Finau to shape shots with ease.
