Tom Kim is arguably one of the hottest young stars on the PGA Tour. The South Korean is the youngest golfer to win three PGA titles. The last person to achieve this feat was Tiger Woods in 1997. Kim is currently competing at Valhalla Golf Club in the 106th edition of the PGA Championship. 

After completing the first round, Kim was in a seven-way tie for fifth place. After Friday’s play, he moved down to T7 with an overall score of 6 under. He became the youngest player at 21 years old to begin a PGA championship with 66 or better since Sergio Garcia in 1999, who was 19 at the time. So, what sets him apart from the other young golfers? The current 26th in OWGR rank uses a Titleist TSR3 driver with a nine-degree loft. The shaft fitted to it is the Graphite Design Tour AD VF 6X. It provides precise speed and distance with exceptional playability. The TSR3 driver offers exceptional feel and playability. The driver is available on the market for around $449.

Kim’s 3-wood is Titleist TSi3 Fairway Metal with a 13.5-degree loft. It used to retail for around $299 but is not available anymore on the official website. The golfer pairs it with a Fujikura Atmos Tour Spec Black 7 X shaft. The Fairway provides impressive speed with more precise flight control for Kim. 

He uses a Titleist TSR3 Hybrid with a 19-degree loft. The shaft used is the Graphite Design Tour AD prototype. The hybrid is available for around $249. Moving on to the irons, the 21-year-old uses a 3-iron Titleist T200 with a 25-degree loft and a Fujikura Ventus Hybrid Black 10 TX shaft. Moreover, T100 from 4-iron to 9-iron with the Project X 120 6.0 shaft also decks his bag. The market value of the sets is around $2000. The T200 has improved sound and feel, with added precision distance control. While T100 iron comes with refined construction and a variable-bounce sole for greater control. Tom Kim uses Titleist Vokey Design SM10 wedges in his armory with a True Temper Dynamic Gold Tour Issue X100 shaft. It costs around the figure of $500.
