Last year, Tiger Woods ended up sidelining himself following a car crash in February. Unfortunately, the PGA Tour legend had already been dealing with a few other health issues. Though Woods’ last wins date back to 2019, the now-46-year-old was often troubled with injuries or otherwise for the latter half of his career.
Sometimes, injuries take more time to heal. Often, players have to face a grim possibility while recovering that they might not play again. Though they might be out on the field again, it’s a concern that cannot be ruled out. For a professional star, this is life-altering in many ways.
The same applies to Woods, who is seen as the GOAT in golf.

Of course, Woods has had his own take on such matters. During an old interview with Time, Woods spoke about probably never playing again and what it means to him.
“Anyone I’ve ever talked to who has had procedures like I’ve had, they say the same thing: you don’t know. With a joint, you know. With a nerve, you just don’t know,” he said. Woods added that while he did talk to Peyton Manning about his neck, it will always remain tough on athletes.
Because at the end of the day, no one knows what might happen.
In the end, Woods realized what was really important for him. “I get to have a life with my kids. That’s more important than golf. I’ve come to realize that now”.
Why did Woods take time to reach his realization?
The PGA Tour star was honest in his answers, revealing that it took him some time to get the realization. While he did not have kids earlier, it was difficult when they were younger and not into many things.
