Robin Tigеr Williams, with his middlе namе paying tribute to the lеgеndary Tigеr Woods, is no ordinary young golfer. The young golfer once revealed that his father is a great fan of cricket and wanted to name him after the legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. But his mother didn’t like the idea, so they came up with ‘Tiger’. While talking about his name being taken after the 15x Major Champion, he said, “I don’t see a lot of similarities between me and Tiger… but he’s a big role model of mine, and I’d like to emulate him on the golf course.”

2. Taiga Semikawa
Taiga Sеmikawa is also named after Tigеr Woods and is a huge fan of the American lеgеnd. The Japanese golfer is currently playing at the Sony Open and is tied at T4 with a score of 11 under. Last but not least is none other than Tiger Christensen. The 19-year-old golfer was named after Tiger Woods and demonstrated a natural talent and a flair for the game. Sharing a name with a legend adds responsibility for players and has always been compared, but not for Christensen.
Even though Woods is an inspiration for him, he wants to write his own success story. He said, “I understand that people will compare everything I’m going to do straight to him, and to me, he is the greatest of all time. It is really special what he’s done for the game and how he’s changed the game and made it more popular.”
