Over the years, Justin Thomas and Tiger Woods have shared an amicable bond. In the 30-year-old’s opinion, Woods’s mentality when it comes to golf makes nothing impossible for him. He, thus, ratified Woods’s hopes of playing competitively at least once every month and agreed that the Tiger of the Golf Jungle would be doing it regardless of what life brings his way.
Thomas also talked about how the age factor must have played a major influence in the 15-time major champion’s decision to make a swift return to the game. This is because, unlike younger players, Woods doesn’t have the luxury of taking time off for longer periods.
During GOLF’s Subpar podcast, Thomas said, “I’ve learned very quickly to not put anything past him. Moreover, the fifteen-time PGA Tour winner also talked about how he would love to see the GOAT play more. He did not forget to mention that Woods is a competitor, and in his hopes of getting to compete against him, Thomas demonstrated his sportsmanship spirit.
