Nike and Tiger Woods’s iconic partnership could be coming to an end soon. After 27 years of their iconic partnership, there are rumors that the two sides may not renew their contract. After his cryptic response when asked to give clarity on the current situation, Nike also hinted at a similar issue. If the speculations are to be true, who will be the next face of Nike Golf?

The brand has a strong roster of golfers, but not all of them have the star power and charisma to fill Woods’s shoes. But someone will have to take the baton in their hands and lead the way for Nike in the golf world. Here are three candidates who could become the new ambassadors for Nike.

1. Rory McIlroy

The Northern Irishman is the most obvious choice to take over from Woods. Rory McIlroy has been with Swoosh since 2013 when he signed a reported $200 million deal. Later in 2017, the deal was extended for 10 years with the same amount. The 4x Major Champion wears Nike from head to toe. The 34-year-old has a close relationship with Woods, and if Nike passes the torch to McIlroy, it would be a fitting and natural transition.

2. Brooks Koepka

The LIV Golfer is another strong contender to become the new face of Nike Golf. Brooks Koepka has been with the brand since 2016. The 33-year-old is known for his power, confidence, and competitiveness, which make him an exciting and formidable player to watch.

The four-time major winner has also shown his personality and flair with his Nike apparel and shoes, often standing out on the course. He has sported special edition models at major championships, such as the yellow ‘Always Fresh shoes at the Masters, the Louis Vuitton Nike Air Force 1 Friends & Family, the Nike Golf Tour Premiere Safari, and the Mamba Mentality x Nike Air Zoom Infinity Tour.

3. Nelly Korda

Korda, the youngest and newest member of the Nike Golf family, signed an apparel deal with the brand in 2023. The 25-year-old Korda is a fan favorite in women’s golf with her talent, charm, and beauty. The Tokyo Olympic winner has a modern and elegant style, wearing Nike outfits that are sleek and sophisticated. She has also worn the brand’s signature shoes, the white and grey Air Jordan 1 Low G NRGs, at the Grant Thornton Invitational. If The Swoosh apparel dеcidеs to make her the face of the brand, it would be a huge boost and honor for her career.
