“I can’t help but get emotional when thinking about the year that we have had,” said Cheyenne Woods, looking back at the struggles in 2024. Tiger Woods‘s niece and the mother of two experienced an unexpected health condition with the younger daughter, Maya, which almost broke her down. Maya had to battle a breathing condition and severe reflux, and as a mother, it was not easy for Cheyenne to witness all that.

She shared about it, writing, “2024 nearly broke me, and it challenged me in ways I wasn’t prepared for, but we made it through. I am so grateful for all our family’s growth this year.” The health condition of Maya, at just eight weeks, forced a hard decision to choose tube feeding. The newborn struggled with weight gain, as feeding her had become a task. But despite the long struggle of the newborn, the family has now found relief.

After months of hardship, Cheyenne had shared a gratitude-filled post for Dominique Grossman, who helped Maya recover. She posted a story on Instagram that read, “Dominque has helped us SO much through our journey with Maya. So knowledgeable and passionate about helping moms and babies. So grateful to have found you.” Now, with the positive development, Cheyenne updated that the mother-daughter duo is once again passionately following golf.

She posted a story on Instagram with Maya at the Augusta National. She shared a selfie of the two, writing, Saturday morning golf date 🤍⛳️so her stepping onto the course after the struggle as a mother is what left the fans’ hearts melting. The golfer’s new roles in her personal life have taken a toll on her professional career.

The birth of Cameron, the elder son, led to a break from the course, but she shared how she enjoys watching golf more than ever, saying, “I do miss Tour golf. I don’t necessarily miss the travel, but I do miss the competition. I watch a lot of golf. I watch more now than I probably ever have.” At the same time, Cheyenne truly values her family over anything else at this point.

“After traveling so much by myself on the road away from family, what I truly value most now is waking up and making my son breakfast, even the late-night feeds with my daughter. Our family is really what’s most important to me in terms of priority. Not only have I had two kids in the last two years, I lost my older brother last year unexpectedly. That, in addition to the beautiful blessing of kids, has really reaffirmed the importance of family and being there when you can while you can,” she had said.

Now that things have started to fall into place and Woods is getting back to the course, is it a hint to appear as a professional?
