Tiger Woods
The mastermind and GOAT of the sport will definitely offer an advantage to the team. Being associated with the league since the beginning, he definitely has a better understanding and knowledge of the league than the golfers debuting from the Boston Common Golf Club. Not to forget his achievements and a total of 82 wins, including 15 majors. However, the last few years for the golfer have been a tough journey with his back injury. But with the recovery phase over and him getting a knack for it after the first match, Woods is going to be a tough challenge for Boston Common GC.
Kevin Kisner
After the first match performance, Kisner’s inclusion in the team was debatable, according to the fans. However, the US Ryder Cup team vice-captain, had the taste of the lowest with his shots missing the greens and some deflecting from the greens. The four-time PGA Tour winner will be hopeful to showcase the best of his game after the tough first matchup. To make that happen, his almost 2 decades of professional career experience and expertise as golf analyst would definitely help the team.
Tom Kim
The fans did not expect a surprise entry on the team of Tom Kim replacing Max Homa. The majority assumed Kisner would be benched after his performance in the first match. But unfortunately, it was Homa who was benched. Moving on, Kim is, in no way, an easy opponent in comparison. He turned pro in 2018, has already won 3 events in his career, and is currently ranked at 24th position. It will be interesting to see how the South Korean golfer will perform in his debut match. The surety of his smooth driving and great short game will be witnessed on the course.

Besides the experienced team at the SoFi Center, the debutants also have a great experience in their career to not make it easy for Jupiter Links Golf Club.

Rory McIlroy
Apart from Woods, Rory McIlroy is the only player who has the advantage even before playing on the course. He, being the co-founder, is well-versed in the tech-infused league. Notably, the world no.3 has recently won the Showdown teamed up with Scottie Scheffler. Along with his 41 wins in his career, despite the second match for Jupiter Links, the experienced captain isn’t going to let it be an easy one.

Keegan Bradley
The captain of the 2025 Ryder Cup US team will be on the opposite side. With a total of 12 wins in his career and a decent start to the 2025 season. Bradley will be aiming to continue the great putting at TGL too. Earlier this season, he recorded T15 at the Sentry, T6 at the Sony Open, and T25 after three rounds at the Farmers Insurance Open. Accompanying the co-founder, with great form, it will be interesting to see how he will make it in the SoFi Center.
Adam Scott

The former world no.1, Adam Scott, will be debuting with the team Boston. The accomplished career of the golfer will make the game a close one for sure. Scott’s total of 32 victories, including the Master’s Championship of 2013, ensures that the match is going to be competitive. For Woods’ team, his consistency being the USP will be troublesome to overcome to win the match.
Until now, TGL matches had a huge margin of wins, but with the upcoming roster and history of players, the matchup is expected to showcase something different. To understand which team has an advantage is still tough, as both have great names with numerous achievements in their career. Who, according to you, has the advantage?
