A former Navy SEAL once called Tiger Woods inappropriate names
Woods had a hard time moving on from the grief of his father’s loss. He finally found his escape by doing something that his father loved. The golfer started visiting the Navy SEALs at their private training facilities and spent days with them. Woods used to shoot guns, jump out of planes, and indulge in many other adventurous things with the Navy.
But as far as his fellow SEALs were concerned, none of them enjoyed Woods’ company as much. A former Navy SEAL once talked about an incident where all of them were highly disappointed with the golfer’s behavior. He recalled the time when Woods had lunch with the SEALs. He said that after they finished having lunch, a waitress came around with the bill. There were hardly five or six people who had lunch with Woods that day.
As soon as the waitress brought the check, the table went silent. No one said anything, including Woods, until a SEAL said, “Separate checks, please.” One seal said, “We are all baffled…We are sitting there with Tiger f—ing Woods, who probably makes more than all of us combined in a day. He’s shooting our ammo, taking our time. He’s a weird f—ing guy. That’s weird s—. Something’s wrong with you.”

According to a former SEAL, Woods only enjoyed doing the easy stuff. The golfer “never got wet and sandy,” according to Ryan Zinke, who was in charge of running the training facility at the time. Woods never mentioned having any intentions of quitting golf and joining the Navy professionally. But he loved spending time at the facility after his old man’s demise.
