However, the legendary golfer is going through a strenuous phase. After being invincible for over a decade, Woods is struggling to find his rhythm. The struggle of the legendary golfer
We all know Tiger Woods is synonymous with the word ‘fighter’. He has faced plenty of setbacks in his career and has emerged on top every time. However, this time, the situation is slightly different. Woods doesn’t have the strength that he had a few years back. The 46-year-old golfer has been struggling with his game since 2020.

Even before he encountered a life-threatening solo car crash, Woods had back issues that restricted him from competing on the PGA Tour. Moreover, since his comeback from the car crash, we are witnessing a different Tiger Woods.
He has been battling injuries throughout his career. However, the 15-time major championship winner is no longer a youngster with immense strength. The ridiculous amount of work that Woods put in during his hay days is taking a toll on his body now.
Therefore, the struggle in each department of his game is visible. He could not get his game in sync as he struggled with his game each time. Additionally, the pain he has to bear every time he walks the 18 holes is making it worse. He had one of the most horrendous rounds of golf at the 2022 PGA Championship. He carded a +9 in the third round and was grappling with pain.
Should Tiger Woods retire from golf?
One perspective says these things are hurting his legacy and body. The younger generation watching Tiger Woods now will never know the skills and dominance he had on the PGA Tour. They will believe whatever they are seeing now. However, if he steps away from golf, there will be no harm to his legacy. He will go down as the greatest golfer of all time.

But, when we think from Tiger’s perspective, we get to know why he probably wants to continue playing. We have seen him compete on the PGA Tour since 1996, and one thing that everyone knows is that he is a stubborn fighter. He will not quit playing without giving it a shot for a few more years.
Woods has no interest in thinking about what he has achieved over the years. He has always thought about what else he could accomplish without thinking about the harm it would cause to his legacy if he failed to deliver. The 46-year-old golfer still believes he can outplay these young golfers and repeat the 2019 Augusta National miracle. And therefore, we consider Tiger Woods a legitimately great player.
