The latest golf ranking was officially released on Monday and shocked everyone. However, the eyes were on Tom Kim from the PGA Tour and Jon Rahm from the DP World tour. These names were trending with their latest achievement, landing on no—15th and 5th, respectively.

However, there was a name on the list farther down, which no one expected. The golf legend Tiger Woods dropped from great heights and landed in the 1,206th position. All the fans were shocked as no one ever imagined Woods falling so down from such great heights. This was the major setback of his entire career.

Now the question arises, what made the 46-year-old winner of 82 PGA Tour events and 15 major championships fall this low? Maybe the series of fatal injuries.

Fans all are aware of the former no. 1 being in a near-fatal car accident in February 2021. And it is something to be thankful for that after suffering a severe leg injury, he is still able to walk. He was in rehab for a year to recover and made his comeback at the PNC Championship last December. Woods played alongside his son Charlie, which eventually landed him on no. 566 in 2021.

In 2022, after his comeback, he was able to play in official tournaments and competed in just nine rounds. However, he was able to cut Masters in April and finished in the 47th position. He made the second cut in the PGA Championship in May, but he withdrew his name after the third round. As a result, he couldn’t be part of the Open Championship in July. This left his fans wondering if Woods has a bright golfing future.
