However, one clip of his from the event has intrigued many fans. During the Genesis Invitational Pro-Am on Wednesday, a clip of the American golfer eating a snack on the greens went viral. This led to many wondering if players were allowed to eat during tournaments. The answer, however, is in favor of Woods.

Recently, Fore Play Golf shared a clip of Woods eating on the greens with the caption “One of us.” The clip has since gone viral, with over 200k views. For the fans wondering, is it perfectly legal to carry a snack on the greens? It is allowed to eat on the greens.
However, players are prohibited from drinking during tournaments. So as long as the American golfer is carrying a non-alcoholic snack on the greens, he is free to consume it. He even offered this advice to a fellow golfer!
Tiger Woods is a supporter of snacking during the events
The American golfer passed some words of wisdom to Lexi Thompson, as it was revealed to her in 2022. The LPGA Tour star said Woods advised her to eat during the events. According to Thompson, when she shared how much she eats before playing, he wasn’t happy with it. “Every two holes, you should be eating something,” he said to the LPGA Tour player.

But Tiger Woods is not the only golfer snacking during the events. Bubba Watson, the winner of 12 PGA Tour events, carried a turkey and cheese or a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with him on the greens, depending on the day.
Furthermore, Jason Day carried Cliff bars with him on the greens. While the ideal choice of the 48-year-old to carry in his bag is still unknown, it can be confirmed that he is a believer in keeping one well-fed during the events.
