Tiger Woods is being inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame tonight. The whole golf world would be watching the ceremony, as Woods will receive the highest honor he could ever get. However, what does the golf legend thinks about the honor he is about to receive?

“It is a career achievement,” Tiger said about being inducted into the Hall of Fame. He was talking to Golf Digest about the unique experience.

According to Woods, being honored with the people he considered as role models itself is an achievement. He added, “It’s pretty humbling.” 

“I have been doing it for 26 years, and it’s a long time,” said Tiger. Since it means a lot to him, Woods wants everyone from his family and his Foundation to be present at the ceremony to celebrate the moment. Tiger feels sad that his father would not be there to see his achievement. However, he is happy that his mother would be there.

The honor of getting inducted into the Hall of Fame means a lot to Woods. Therefore, he wants to make it as special as he can. What could make the ceremony more special than being introduced by his own daughter? Yes, Sam Alexis Woods would be the speech presenter for Woods.

The 2022 Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on the 9th of March at the PGA Tour’s ‘Global Home’ headquarters in Florida. While Golf Channel will telecast the program live, their senior analyst David Feherty will host the ceremony

Apart from Tiger Woods, Susie Maxwell Berning, Tim Finchem, and the late Marion Hollins would get inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. Moreover, the authority has introduced two new award categories from this year; the lifetime achievement honors and the Charlie Sifford Award.
