Injuries are a part and parcel of the game. Some of them can be serious and require immediate attention. One such injury occurred with Tiger Woods back in 2015. However, the 15-time major championship winner took matters into his hand and did something incredible to rectify the injury. But what did he do?

Tiger Woods becomes a doctor on the golf course
Injuries have always surrounded Tiger’s golf career, be it his back issues or problem with his knees. However, once the World Golf Hall of Fame member self doctored himself during an injury at the 2015 Masters and even spoke about it after his round ended.
Woods was not having a good week at Augusta National back in 2015. He had opened the event with a dismal 73 and shot the same score in the final round on Sunday. However, it was painful.

Tiger jammed his iron into a tree root on the par 4, ninth hole. And caused an injury to his wrist, and Woods could be seen in pain as soon as he hit the shot. He would throw his club and yell in pain after hitting the shot from the pine straw. Moreover, after his round, Tiger revealed how he dealt with the situation on the course in an interview with CBS.
He said, “A bone kinda popped out, and a joint kind of went out of place, but I put it back in”.

Is there anything that Woods can not do? It is truly incredible to see how he managed quickly to remedy the injury and even finish his final round.
Woods’ final round summary at 2015 Masters
Tiger played his first official event since February at the 2015 Masters. He carded a final round of one-over-par, 73. As a result, he ended the event with an overall score of five-under-par in tied 17th position. Tiger’s final round of 73 included one birdie and two bogeys on the front nine, and Woods moved out in one-over-par, 37. He made two birdies and two bogeys on the back nine on the route of a tied 17th finish at the 2015 Masters.
