After the near-fatal car accident of Tiger Woods last year, he was not sure about playing golf. Although fans all wanted him to be back soon, there was a lot of uncertainty. But thankfully, he returned to the course for the first time at the PNC Championship. And the little charmer, Charlie Woods, accompanied him.
Woods was observing his son play golf. He realized Charlie’s mistake, which could ruin his game for that entire round. As fans know, golfers sometimes lose their cool on the course after making a wrong hole. This concerned Woods.
Charlie’s temper could affect his upcoming shots. The next attempt would have more anger than the last one and might ruin the game. Thus, Woods took charge of teaching his son the lesson of life.
Woods said to Charlie, “Son, I don’t care how mad you get. Your head could blow off for all I care, just as long as you’re 100 percent committed to the next shot. That next shot should be the most important shot in your life. It should be more important than breathing.”
He asked his son to focus only on the present; to stay loyal to the next shot and try to make it the best.
