Worldwide, Woods is well-known for his contribution to making golf a global sport. For his work both on and off the course, fans regard him as the most incredible player to have ever graced the game.

Notably, Tiger Woods is also one of the earliest billionaire athletes and has owned some incredible and exotic places. Currently, Woods owns golf courses, an incredible mansion, a yacht, and a restaurant, which is a sports bar as well. But do you know why Tiger decided to build a restaurant? 

Why did Tiger Woods build a restaurant?

Tiger Woods owns an incredible exotic sports bar in Jupiter, Florida, worth $8 million. Notably, his girlfriend, Erica Herman, is the manager of the outlet. Notably, during an interview, he revealed the reason for building a restaurant or a sports bar.

“I live just up the road, and my kids are just south,” said Tiger. “I have to drive 25 or 30 minutes south to get to a nice restaurant. Who wants to do that every day? That’s not a lot of fun.” Hence, Woods decided to start a restaurant. 

“Let’s do something that’s different, and that’s never been done in the area.” 

So Tiger created a sports bar that is not so high-end and doesn’t require any suits and stuff. “I hate that. And I hate going to a place where you have to wear a sports coat. I can’t stand it. But also comfortable enough where you can wear flip-flops, which I like. That’s how I want it to be, and that’s how I am. I’m just chill.”  

Finding a need for it, Tiger created a sports bar where you can hang out with friends and have a good time. Notably, the place is named ‘The Woods-Jupiter‘ and is open all days of the week from 11 am to 11 pm.
