The father-son duo was also seen playing together in the PNC Championship when Charlie was just 11 years old. The pro golfer admitted that Charlie was just like him when it came to smack talking and on-the-field banter.
Tiger Woods details his son’s smack-talking skills
Woods detailed it while announcing his partnership with his son Charlie, 11, in the PNC Championship. He said that entering the event together with his son was a joint decision and the main motive was to enhance Charlie’s golf skills. And at the same time, Woods also wanted to keep it fun for Charlie.

Justin Thomas commented about Woods’ son at the Mayakoba Golf Classic saying that Charlie trash talks exactly like his old man Tiger Woods. And surprisingly, Woods confirmed the claim and said, “He’s a little on the chirpy side, just like I am,”.

Woods stated reasons for entering the former “Father-Son Challenge”
Tiger Woods stated that the idea of entering the event occurred to him during the pandemic. It gave him more time to spend and practice golf with Charlie. “Because everything was shut down, the only thing that was available to us was golf. He started to pick up golf, but this pandemic allowed us to play more golf and be with one another,” he said.

Woods added, “I had a tournament every day with him, and that was the fun part. Was just like me growing up with my dad.”. He mentioned that he and Charlie were busy making their skills sharper in golf.
