This incident occurred when the American golfer was out at Trout National for his upcoming golf course. He was joined by Mike Trout, center fielder for the LA Angels. The baseball player shared an Instagram post, showcasing his visit alongside the American golfer, and some eagle-eyed fans caught the golfer wearing Nike shoes to the underdeveloped golf course.

The 48-year-old was wearing a pair of Nike work boots, which sell for around $175. But the sight of the two being together was enough for fans to poke fun.

The 15x major champion wearing Nike work boots on his work field garnered a lot of attention and hence had a plethora of reactions from the fans and the online community.

Golf insider Claire Rogers wrote that this may be the last piece of Nike apparel that people will ever see the American golfer in. And cheekily pointed out that the choice was not a great one for a last pair of boots.

But another fan replied to Rogers wondering what would happen to the Nike apparel Woods has received over the years. After 27 years of being together, the 48-year-old must have warehouses filled with them.

Another fan shared their opinion that this relationship between Tiger Woods and Nike reminds them of the relationship between another sports entity. The fan claimed it gave, “Brett Favre wrangler vibes.”

While the majority of fans poked fun at Woods, the baseball player accompanying him was also not safe from scrutiny. A fan urged Trout to follow in the footsteps of Woods, stating, “Now leave Nike like Tiger Mike! Start an AMERICAN brand!!!”
