Woods gave an interview in the CBS Booth to Nick Faldo as well as, Jim Nantz about his return to the PGA Tour. Woods spoke about the modern equipment. The 82-time PGA Tour winner said, “I think it would be advantageous for the game of golf if we did that. I personally don’t want to see the amateurs lose the excitement of going out there and playing long and have the forgiveness. But also just add spin to the golf ball. That’s a way to shorten it up as well.”
And as for the question about his comeback on PGA Tour, Woods said, “You will see me on the PGA Tour. I just don’t know when.” He gave the interview in the third round on Saturday.
