Sam Woods opens up Tiger Woods and the horrifying crash last year
The Hall of Fame induction took place at the PGA Headquarters earlier this month. Introducing Woods at the ceremony was his daughter, Sam Woods, who paid an emotional tribute to her father. She even opened up about the fears the whole family encountered after Woods’ accident.
Tiger met with an accident earlier last year in February. As a result, he was confined to the sidelines for almost the rest of the year. Recalling the same, Sam spoke about Tigers’ injury in her introductory speech.

Sam said, “We didn’t know if you’d come home with two legs or not. Now, you’re not only about to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, but you’re standing here on your own two feet. This is why you deserve this. You’re a fighter, you’ve defied the odds every time.”
Sam also referred to the tragedy as one of her fathers, “Ultimate lows.”

Woods thanks his family
Eldrick Woods also gave an emotional acceptance speech after receiving the honor. Tiger expressed his gratitude towards his family and to all his supporters.
He said, “I just want to say thank you to my mom, Sam, Erica, Charlie, everyone here, all my friends that have come to be here. This is an individual award, but it’s actually a team award. All of you allowed me to get here. I just want to say thank you very much from the bottom of my heart.”
Currently, Woods is still away from competitive golf. However, the sight of Woods walking with ease at the induction ceremony has given rise to rumors of a comeback at the Masters next month. Do you think it is possible?
