Are the injuries still posing a hurdle for Tiger Woods?
Tiger Woods, the five-time green jacket winner, since the car crash, hasn’t competed on any of the Tours. So as he recovers from the life-threatening injuries, he revealed whether he could walk and compete at the par-3 contest of the 2022 Masters. Even though he can walk without crutches, Tiger still believes he doesn’t have the strength to walk 72 holes. Hence, there is a delay in his comeback on the PGA Tour.
“I can walk the par 3,” revealed Tiger. “Well, I can walk that now.” Furthermore, he said it is a practice round, and there isn’t much pressure around. However, when it comes to competing, it takes a toll on not only physical but also mental, for which he isn’t prepared yet.
“I haven’t prepared for any of that. Going for a walk, I can do that. Am I going to be sore? Hell, yeah, but I can do that,” said Woods. However, when asked if that was something he was planning to do this year? “I can do that now. Whether I do that or not, I don’t know,” concluded Tiger.
