Tiger Woods and Nelly Korda are going to give the Thursday Pro-am at the PNC Championship a miss. For golf fans, that means the window of a photo opportunity with the 15x Major winner gets narrower, as a bizarre rule prevents the audience from taking pictures on the regular day of the tournament. Notably, Tiger Woods is stepping on the greens for the first time on US soil after limping out of the Masters in April.
The PNC Championship pairs up Major winners with their parents/children. The two-person scramble format has been a yearly outing for the former World No.1. Although not an official event in the PGA Tour calendar, fans eagerly wait for the ‘family’ golf tournament. But as it appears, they have to wait a little longer for a photo opportunity with Tiger Woods and a few ace golfers. Why?

Tiger Woods, Justin Thomas, and Nelly Korda are some of the big names missing from the Thursday Pro-Am. So, fans who expected to take pictures of and with the 15-time Major winner and other ace golfers have to wait till December 15 at least. However, the 82-time PGA Tour winner and his son, Charlie Woods, will tee off on the Friday Pro-Am at 9 am ET as revealed by TWLegion, a Tiger Woods fan page. The tee times of Nelly Korda and Justin Thomas are yet to be confirmed.
🚨⏱️⛳️ Tiger & Charlie are signed up for the Friday morning pro-am in Orlando. They’ll tee off at 9 AM ET. There is a pro-am Thursday as well but some of the big names including JT, Tiger and Nelly won’t play in that.

As per the PNC Championship rules fans can’t click pictures during the tournament. Cameras are not allowed on the course for Saturday and Sunday. The only opportunity to take pictures was on Thursday and Friday Pro-Am.
While cell phones are allowed on the weekend, you can not click pictures or record videos of the ongoing tournament. Moreover, no on-site tickets will be available at the gates. So, if you are planning for a Friday Pro-Am outing, reserve your seats in advance.
One more thing to remember, no special privileges for the PGAT card holders as well. So, even if you have a PGAT card, you need to buy tickets for the regular day to witness the likes of Woods, Korda, Thomas, and Daly.

Korda will tee up at the PNC Championship with her father Petr Korda. So will Justin Thomas, who once again brings his father, Mike Thomas, on the greens. The duo won the event in 2020.
Tiger Woods, meanwhile, will team up with his son, Charlie Woods to appear at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club for the fourth time. In their 2021 outing, the father-son duo came close to sniffing the title but fell short to Team Daly.
