Former World No. 1 Jon Rahm is among the top names in the golf community. The 27-year-old golfer has more records than many golfers on the course. Currently out in the field for the U.S Open, Rahm shares his views about the PGA Tour and the ongoing LIV Tour drama.
The player talks about his love for the sport in a media interaction at the U.S. Open. The question was about him being on the PGA Tour or the LIV Tour team. Rahm’s response to the question made his intentions clear about the game and the PGA Tour.

Jon Rahm’s comments on the PGA Tour vs LIV Golf situation
Rahm said, “The PGA Tour has done an amazing job giving us the best platform for us to perform. I want to play against the best in the world in a format that’s been going on for hundreds of years. That’s what I want to see.”

He added, “There’s meaning when you win Arnold Palmer’s event at Bay Hill. There’s a meaning when you win, LA, Torrey, some of the historic venues. That to me matters a lot.”

The player also talked about history and legacy as the most important aspects of golf for him. He had no intentions of taking sides with the Saudi-funded tour. His support for the PGA Tour was clear in a statement he later made in the interview.
“My heart is with the PGA Tour,” Rahm claimed. “That’s all I can say.”

Rahm has shown his loyalty towards the PGA Tour like Tiger Woods. The player also showed concern about the upcoming Ryder’s Cup. He said so after witnessing many players giving up their PGA memberships. It is a real matter of concern as a player must be a member of the PGA Tour to enter into the Ryder’s Cup according to PGA of America.
