Serena Williams is one of the most accomplished athletes ever, but even a person of her stature couldn’t talk herself into clicking a picture of Tiger Woods. Yes, that’s exactly what happened.
Williams visited the PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, to watch Woods play at The Honda Classic in 2013. But little did the tennis icon know that spectators at the tournament were prohibited from clicking pictures of golfers on their mobile phones.
Serena Williams grinned at Tiger Woods during his tee shot at the 17th. As she smiled, Williams also took out her phone and attempted to click a picture of the golf legend.
However, a security guard popped up just in time and informed Serena about the tradition against mobile phone pictures. A bemused Williams popped her eyes upon being told to keep down her phone, but later had a laugh about it in good spirit!
