During the final round, Harman made sure that no other even came close to his glorious win. He won a prize money of a whopping $3 million from the $16.5 million purse and carded his name in the victors of the toughest test of golf.
In the final round, he scored 1 under, and his overall score was 14 under. The golfers who tied at the second position were nowhere to 3X PGA Tour winners. Now, as pointed out by PGA Tour Communications on Twitter, the golfer’s victory was even more special and memorable.

His ecstatic victory is amongst the largest margin victories that the fans have observed in the history of major tournaments. The 36-year-old won the Open Championship by 6 strokes, and Bryson DeChambeau won by the same number of strokes back in 2020 when he won the US Open that year.
But to everyone’s amazement, these two golfers are not the only ones to have the victory by such a good number of strokes. There are a few other champions as well who have outshined their opponents on the course.
Golfers other than Harman and Bryson DeChambeau who have recorded similar wins in majors
The only golfer to win the major with the highest number of strokes is the golf great, Tiger Woods. He won the 2000 US Open with 15 strokes, and then recorded another win with 8 strokes in 2000 when he emerged victorious in the Open Championship that year. Other golfers to have won by 8 strokes are Rory McIlroy and Martin Kaymer. McIlroy won in the 2011 US Open and 2012 PGA Championship and Kaymer won the 2014 US Open.
