Thomas Detry began playing golf at the age of five, alongside hockey and tennis, and quickly started competing in international tournaments as a teenager. At 16, he won the Dutch Junior Open in 2009 and was selected for the Junior Ryder Cup team the following year. Detry followed his good friend Thomas Pieters to the University of Illinois, where he studied business management.

In his final year, he was ranked the 7th best amateur golfer in the world. Turning professional in 2016, Detry made an immediate impact on the Challenge Tour, making the cut in his first 10 events and securing a win at the Bridgestone Challenge. In 2020, he earned runner-up finishes at two European Tour events, The Hero Open and the Celtic Classic, which helped him rise to 75th in the World Golf Rankings. However, he is yet to achieve a win on the Tour and is currently ranked 62nd on the OWGR list. But what is the equipment he has been using for this season, as per Today’s Golfer?

Thomas Detry has a driving distance of 295.2 yards in the field average, which makes him rank in the top 100 of the list. He has been able to achieve such accuracy with the Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver, which he uses with an MCA Tensei CK Pro Blue 70TX shaft. This driver is perfect for giving workability off the tee. Priced at $599.99, these are currently available for $499.99 on the official website.
