‘This Legend..’: World No. 7 Max Homa Ushers in a Huge Milestone With His Son Cam

With six professional victories on the PGA Tour, Max Homa has become a household name in recent times. The 32-year-old also has a great sense of humor, with his social media activity often garnering the attention of golf enthusiasts. From time to time, he also treats his fans to beautiful photos of his family, especially his son Cam Andrew Homa. The golfer, who we last saw at the 2023 RBC Heritage, celebrated another amazing milestone with his adorable son on Sunday!

After a horrid few weeks at the course, Max Homa finally has something to celebrate

In the past few weeks, Max Homa has visibly struggled on the course. Earlier this month, his run at the Augusta National ended with a T43 finish. He followed his Masters appearance with a dismal outing at the Hilton Head, where he failed to make the cut. Most recently, he also missed the cut at the Zurich Classic alongside Collin Morikawa.

Despite his unfortunate luck on the greens, the World No. 7 has much to celebrate. The 2023 Farmers Insurance Open winner took to Instagram on Sunday to share a precious photo of his son, writing, “This legend is six months old today!” Max had even shared an adorable post after the birth of his son last year.

Homa, who married his wife Lacey Croom in 2019, welcomed his son Cam Andrew Homa into the world in October 2022. After his son’s birth, he had broken the news to the world via his Twitter and Instagram. Three months later, the golfer went on to clinch his sixth win on the PGA Tour.

The golfer is next set to appear in the 2023 Wells Fargo Championship. He had won the event last year, taking home $1,620,000 in earnings. Besides Homa, the likes of Morikawa, Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, and Rickie Fowler are also set to appear in the event. Masters winner Jon Rahm and World No. 2 Scottie Scheffler will sit out this event.

Max has fun plans for his baby’s future

The 32-year-old Homa is a jokester, and golf fans are well aware of it. He even has mischievous plans for when his son Cam grows up. In January, the “fun” dad revealed a story he planned on telling his son in the future.

After besting Keegan Bradley to win the Farmers Insurance Open title earlier this year, Homa acknowledged that his son would grow up to know nothing about the win. However, he planned on reminding his son about it again and again. “He has no idea what I did, but I will tell him this story ad nauseam,” said the champion hilariously. “He will probably think I’m the worst for it.”
