Taking to Twitter, the League of Defectors posted a complete roster of each of its 12 teams and drive the fans berserk. The roster reveal left many bewildered. Many were so confused, in fact, that they were just not able to pick out one team to support!
Fans started to take to the comments section and voice out their own opinions as to who would grab the win.
Seems they spread the talent should be a great season.

Trouble picking. Those are some great teams!

Really strong field. Media makes it sound like there are no good players and this might be better than 75% of the PGA tour fields this year.

From last year’s Crushers, led by Bryson DeChambeau, to one of the new teams, the Range Goats, captained by Bubba Watson, many names were thrown into the mix.
Rangegoats/ Rippers will be top teams!!!
— Troy (@CrazyCanuck21) February 21, 2023
My money is on Bryson and the Crushers.

But amongst all the excitement, fans were also infuriated with how the teams had been named. Many even claimed that children could have done a better job. And some refused to acknowledge the league teams as long as they had such ridiculous names, while others came out with their own suggestions.
This is so embarrassing. These names look like they were invented at an 11 year old’s sleepover.

My daughters 3rd grade softball league has some of these same team names.

I want to get onboard but these XFL team names make me so apprehensive
— Scott Stender (@scott_stender) February 21, 2023
Smash should have been Lone Wolff

There were also many PGA Tour loyalists in the crowd who went on to criticize the league. They claimed that the tour was far superior and that LIV could never hold a candle to it.
This is going to be awful compared to what's going on in PGA right now.

Whatever. Cannot compare to the real tour. @PGATOUR
