And when it comes to legends like Tiger Woods and John Daly, things automatically get a little more special. Having played on the PGA Tour for decades, both these players have made millions of fans in their respective careers. The two have also been in the headlines together quite a few times when Woods joked about Daly’s physical condition during an old interview.

But despite their bumpy relationship, the two highly respect each other for their shared past. In fact, fans love hearing stories about Woods and Daly, who celebrated his 57th birthday yesterday, from their initial days in golf. And to make things nostalgic for everyone, Golf Digest recently shared an unseen picture of the two from a long time ago. “12-year-old Tiger and 21-year-old John Daly.” they wrote in the caption. Notably, the golfer looks way younger than Daly in the photograph.

However, according to Daly’s old statements, Woods has always been a mentally stronger contender on the course than him. But despite all his appreciation towards the golf ace, Daly isn’t really intimidated by Woods. During his episode on the FULL SEND podcast, “Long John” stated, “I love Tiger Woods. But, no. He doesn’t intimidate me. I love the kid.”.
