What happened in the 2018 U.S. Open?
There was a time in 2018 during the U.S. Open when great names of golf were struggling, including Tiger Woods. They couldn?t even finish the first round, and Bryson DeChambeau was also one of them. And? a powerful left-to-right wind smothered it. All the players, including Bryson, missed the right of the green. Virtually it was clearly impossible to not miss the shot.?
?Supporting Bryson DeChambeau
DeChambeau was in news after this statement, but his fans and others supported him. The golf course arguably should have favorable playing conditions which Shinnecock Hills could not provide that day. It proved to be tough and gave a hard time to some best golf players. Especially round 1, which turned out to be brutal for players, as it yielded the highest score in the first round since 2016.
