Jessica Korda entered the golf world at just 8 years old. Her parents played a crucial role in her development as a golfer. They provided her with expert coaching and traveled with her to tournaments around the world, creating a supportive and competitive environment that helped her hone her skills.

Moreover, they instilled in her a strong work ethic and a love for the game, teaching her to stay focused and persistent in the face of challenges. Thanks to their guidance and support, Jessica has become one of the top players in women’s golf today. The American professional golfer has been making waves on the LPGA tour since she turned pro in 2010, and has since won numerous titles, including several major championships.

However, not all young and talented golfers are brought up in the same way. Sometimes parents don’t have the access to proper resources to nurture their kid’s talents. This is where the USGA’s new regime comes in. This regime is a milestone for the golf industry and, like many people, Korda is excited about it as well.

Jessica Korda is impressed by the USGA

The United States Golf Association has launched the U.S. National Golf Developmental Program to increase the accessibility of golf and provide young athletes with an opportunity to develop their skills in the sport.

The program aims to bring together the best young golfers from diverse backgrounds to help grow the game and create a pipeline of future champions.

Moreover, it will include regional training centers, a national tournament series, and college scholarships, among other resources. The USGA hopes that this program will help make golf more inclusive and accessible, and ultimately produce world-class golfers.
