LIV Golf has all the limelight since this young and emerging golfer announced he would join LIV Golf. 

New member of LIV Golf

20-year-old David Puig is one of the top players in college golf over the past two seasons. He recently turned professional and joined LIV Golf just before the start of his senior season. He even announced on his Instagram handle that his first professional play at LIV Golf’s event would be this week outside Chicago at Rich Harvest Farms.

Puig, a Spaniard from Arizona State, is looking forward to his first professional season and is excited to get started with the league. He is confident in his abilities and is ready to take his game to the next level.

As an amateur, Puig has already played in two LIV Golf events, finishing in 40th place at the inaugural event outside London, and 42nd place at Bedminster in New Jersey. He will now join LIV’s Torque GC team, captained by Joaquin Niemann, with Scott Vincent and Jed Morgan as the other team members.

Puig is currently ranked No. 9 in the World Amateur Golf Ranking. He has won three college events at Arizona State. Further, he tied for 11th place individually at the NCAA Championship last season at Grayhawk.
