The Walton Heath Club saw American golfer Lilia Vu take home the British Open title and the winner’s cut of $1.35 million from the prize purse. Moreover, the 2023 AIG Women’s Open saw much drama on the course as the hype reached its zenith on Sunday. But Charley Hull couldn’t manage to escape the drama even as the golfer went home after the long day’s play.
Bad luck seemed to follow the player around as she reached her home to find themselves in an utterly undesirable situation. But as always, her long-time support on the course proved to be her companion off the course as well as he came to her rescue.

Hull couldn’t let go of her misfortune even after coming home from the major championship, where she fell short of the title by just six strokes. The 27-year-old found herself locked out of her house with her caddie, Adam Woodward, in the middle of the night, as she shared the situation on her Instagram handle in a series of stories.
Starting off by asking her followers how their evening was going, the 27-year-old went ahead to explain the situation to her fans. She mentioned how Woodward attempted to climb to her bedroom through her window while standing on top of the car’s hood.
The golfer uploaded the story with the caption, “locked me and my caddy outside my house ffs this could end bad,” expressing her misfortune.
The LPGA star also shared in the next couple of stories how the night ended up. Her caddie put a trash can on top of her car using which he climbed on top of her roof. He then pushed the windows up and entered the room as per Hull’s instructions. They were evidently overjoyed as she shared the story with a cheer!
Even though the LPGA pro had an unlucky day of sorts, she was seen enjoying a slice of pizza while being locked outside. Even as Hull fell short of her dream title, she was quick to pick up and dust herself off to move forward, exhibiting true sportsmanship.
